Realplay is looking for high energy applicants with experience in social media or marketing. The ideal candidate should have the desire to play a key role within an innovative team that's actively advancing the sports industry forward. Realplay delivers video of every swing, pitch, and defensive play that any player makes on a baseball or softball field. Our cameras capture every moment for each player and store them on personalized profiles in order to help players improve their game, easily share their highlights with anyone, and hold onto memories.
Job Description:
Realplay is looking to add members to an on-site Marketing Team for the Spring/Summer baseball and softball season. As a member of our Marketing Team, your work will contribute directly to the fast-paced growth of our company, and the advancement of the sports tech industry as a whole. Members of the team will be tasked with:
- Attending Realplay's partner facility "Lasorda Legacy Park", in Yaphank, NY
- Engaging with tournament attendees to increase brand awareness
- Developing a strong understanding of Realplay's business
- Participating in professional advancement exercises
- Running Realplay sponsored competitions for players attending events
- Creating, Implementing, and tracking new social media campaigns
- Work directly with management staff to execute strategic objectives
- Answering questions from parents and players
- Setting up and taking down an on-site sales/marketing booth
- Experience with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere, iMovie, TikTok, or Instagram Reels
- Understanding of baseball/softball
- High energy, enthusiasm, and self-motivated
- Past experience in sales or marketing
- Excellent professional communication skills
- Easy access to transportation to and from sites
- Desire to work within a fast-paced environment
- Training and start dates are not finalized but will begin in either April or May and will run throughout the season
This is not a paid internship, but is available for school credit
