Job Overview:As a Music Teacher for Autistic Learners, you will be responsible for creating and implementing individualized music lessons and activities for students with autism. You will work closely with our team of special education professionals to provide a supportive and inclusive learning environment that fosters creativity, self-expression, and personal growth through music.Responsibilities:- Develop and implement personalized music lesson plans tailored to meet the unique needs and abilities of each student- Utilize a variety of music therapy techniques and strategies to engage and motivate students with autism- Collaborate with special education professionals, therapists, and families to support student progress and development- Evaluate student progress and adjust lesson plans as needed to ensure successful outcomes- Maintain accurate records and documentation of student participation and achievementsRequirements:- Bachelor's degree in Music Education, Music Therapy, Special Education, or related field- Previous experience working with individuals with autism or special needs- Strong knowledge of music theory, instrumentation, and various music genres- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with individuals with special needsWorking HoursMonday - Friday8:00am - 2:30pmAvg Class Size: 8-10$500 Sign on Bonus!Please note that MusicBreeds is an equal opportunity employer and complies with all applicable federal, state, and local laws regarding non-discrimination.
