Tyndale House Publishers is hiring: On-Call Warehouse Worker in Carol Stream

Tyndale House Publishers is looking for individuals to work on-call hours in different areas of our warehouses. Primary tasks would include efficiently and accurately pick, pack and ship orders, replenish stock throughout areas of Distribution, sort products for defect, apply labels to products and cartons, and assist with varied manufacturing projects. The right candidates must possess the aptitude to comfortably and safely operate various equipment upon completion of hands-on training. Equipment may include: order pickers, electric and gas forklifts, automatic stretch wrappers, shrink-wrapping equipment and more.

Qualified candidates must be proficient in reading and speaking English. Basic math, computer and technology skills needed. Hand dexterity and good communication skills are essential. Candidates should be able to work well with others in a team environment and accept delegated authority. In addition, candidates should be quick learners, flexible, and focused. Job requires full-time walking, standing, bending, and lifting up to 50 lb. cartons. Hours may include a mix of daytime, evening, and Saturday hours, as needed.
