The Pricing & Promotion Analyst is responsible for establishing the base and promotional price for a specific grouping of categories to enable profitable sales growth

> Set base and promotional pricing for specific product categories to align with the Brand strategy at the shelf, while meeting sales, margin, and unit targets.
> Monitor the performance of the base and promotional pricing plan
> Collaborates with the Price and Promo Brand Team and CSS on pricing tool and leverage to full use
> Detect, research, and correct data errors within the product hierarchy
> Guide entry support to ensure accuracy, timely completion and alignment to category strategy for promotional activity.

Requirements:

  • 2-4 years of experience in pricing, promotions, or retail analytics, preferably within a consumer goods or retail environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field; or equivalent professional experience.
  • Strong understanding of pricing strategies, including base and promotional pricing, and their impact on sales, margin, and unit performance.
  • Proficient in data analysis and the ability to monitor, assess, and optimize pricing strategies to drive profitable growth.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with teams such as Brand, Marketing, and Sales to align pricing strategies with broader business objectives.
  • Ability to identify, research, and resolve data discrepancies within product hierarchies to ensure pricing accuracy.
  • Familiarity with pricing tools, software, and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.).
  • Strong critical thinking skills to detect and address issues in pricing plans or promotional activities.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines while ensuring accuracy and alignment with category strategies.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex data and insights to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Must be able to work in the office 3 days a week.
The starting salary for this position is $72,880 and will be commensurate with background, experience as well as internal equity.
