Overview: The Senior Regional Marketing Manager, Public Sector will play a pivotal role in developing and executing marketing strategies to drive pipeline and revenue growth within the federal and SLED sectors. This position, ideally located in Reston, VA, will work closely with F5's sales teams and experiential marketing team, as well as key distribution partners, to ensure impactful marketing programs. Additionally, the candidate will take ownership of the planning and execution of the annual Public Sector Symposium, one of F5's largest events for the federal and SLED markets. Responsibilities: Marketing Strategy and Execution: Pipeline Growth: Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to generate qualified leads and drive pipeline growth within the Public Sector market. Partnership Optimization: Serve as the key contact for distribution reseller, ensuring smooth execution of joint marketing programs and maximizing the impact of the partnership. Field Budget Management: Manage the field marketing budget for the Public Sector segments, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and alignment with strategic goals. Partner Budget Maximization: Oversee the joint marketing budget with partners, ensuring effective resource utilization and tracking ROI. Sales Team Alignment: Relationship Building: Foster strong relationships with the Public Sector sales teams, aligning marketing efforts with their goals and objectives. Communication: Serve as the primary marketing liaison, providing regular updates, gathering feedback, and continuously refining marketing strategies. Public Sector Symposium Management: Strategic Leadership: Oversee the development and execution of the annual Public Sector Symposium, a premier event co-hosted with partners and F5's experiential marketing team. This event serves as a cornerstone for engaging key government and educational institutions, driving significant pipeline growth and brand awareness. Event Execution: Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of all aspects of the symposium, ensuring a seamless and impactful experience for attendees. Sales Team Alignment: Relationship Building: Foster strong relationships with the Public Sector sales teams, aligning marketing efforts with their goals and objectives. Communication: Serve as the primary marketing liaison, providing regular updates, gathering feedback, and continuously refining marketing strategies. Market Expertise: Knowledge Base: Leverage a deep understanding of Public Sector procurement cycles and regulations to develop targeted marketing strategies. Performance Measurement: Data-Driven Optimization: Analyze marketing campaign performance using key metrics (pipeline growth, conversion rates, etc.) to optimize strategies and exceed targets. Qualifications: BA/BS in Marketing, Business, Communications or other related field, or relevant experience. 12-15+ years of experience in B2B marketing, with a focus on field and channel marketing in technology organizations. Public Sector marketing experience highly desired. Proven track record of success in developing and executing strategic marketing plans to drive revenue growth and market expansion. Ability to analyze data, develop strategies to achieve desired metrics, build compelling business cases for investment, and present results to senior sales and marketing leaders. Strong leadership skills with experience leading and mentoring cross-functional teams. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. The annual base pay for this position is: $149,006.00 - $223,510.00 F5 maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, geographic locations, and market conditions, as well as to reflect F5's differing products, industries, and lines of business.
