Job Description
Ria Digital is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr. SEO Manager to oversee and manage all aspects of SEO optimization for our global, enterprise-level organization. This role will drive SEO strategy for our public site as well as our blog, manage a team of SEO specialists, and oversee planning and optimization for our app and websites. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, both oral and written, to effectively direct developers and stakeholders. This role is highly visible and requires an individual who can manage others and build strong relationships to impact and influence without direct authority.

Responsibilities
- Conduct regular site audits and make actionable recommendations to the Director for improved performance.
- Research and direct new SEO tactics, to drive decisions as it relates to website architecture, URL structures, schema markup, site speed optimization, and other technical elements.
- Manage SEO and ASO agency relationships to ensure alignment with our optimization strategy.
- Work closely with the Director to create and implement an effective SEO & ASO strategy.
- Demonstrate expertise and results with technical SEO.
- Perform keyword and competitive analysis and research.
- Socialize program performance, project status updates, resource requirements, and blockers to key stakeholders on a regular basis.
- Collaborate with developers to write requirements and resolve SEO issues.
- Drive and manage proposed technical changes with developers and stakeholders.
- Research and implement innovative off-page SEO tactics, including backlinking.
- Report on monthly website traffic metrics and regularly assess the health of the website.
- Utilize SEMrush, Screaming Frog, or AHREFs for advanced SEO analysis.
- Understand and apply global language and location considerations for SEO purposes.
- Possess localization experience to optimize content for different regions.
- Manage ASO projects for the Apple App Store and Google Play.
- Optimize app metadata, conduct keyword research, and implement new ideas to improve app rankings.
- Partner with and direct copywriters for keyword optimization and local keyword research.
- Optimize content for search to ensure maximum visibility and engagement.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience managing and directing all facets of SEO, (including on-page, off-page, technical, and localization) for a global, enterprise organization.
- Proven experience working with developers to resolve technical SEO issues.
- Ability to build and develop relationships with stakeholders and functional leads.
- Solid understanding of SEO best practices. Must have a passion for SEO and willingness to work within a team structure.
- Strong technical understanding of SEO and a variety of content management systems, including WordPress and Prismic.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in using Monday.com to manage work projects.
- Managerial experience of a small team.
- Experience with and/or understanding of code (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
