Job Summary:

We are seeking a technically skilled Technical Marketer to join our engineering team. Reporting to the Lead Engineer, this role will serve as a shared resource between the software engineering and marketing teams. The ideal candidate will manage complex digital marketing tasks, implement marketing automation systems, and provide data analysis to drive marketing performance. This role requires both technical expertise and a marketing mindset to bridge the gap between these departments.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadspedia Management: Set up, customize, and maintain workflows, automations, and lead management systems within Leadspedia. Ensure seamless integration with other systems and platforms.
  • Technical Campaign Support: Troubleshoot multi-channel digital marketing campaigns, including email, SMS, and automated workflows, while ensuring they meet both marketing and technical specifications.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Leverage data tools to extract insights, track performance, and optimize digital strategies. Provide actionable, data-driven insights to improve marketing efficiency and ROI.
  • Landing Page Maintenance: Help maintain landing pages with code changes. Integrate marketing campaigns and lead delivery across different verticals. 
  • Automation & Workflow Development: Design, build, and optimize custom workflows and automations. Ensure scalability and performance across campaigns, working closely with the software engineering team to implement solutions.
  • Cross-Team Collaboration: Collaborate closely with both the marketing and software engineering teams to ensure digital marketing initiatives are technically sound and aligned with business goals.
  • Best Practices & Optimization: Continuously refine and implement best practices for marketing automation and technical integration. Ensure that marketing platforms, including Leadspedia, are optimized for efficiency and scalability.


Skills & Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience with marketing automation platforms
  • Proficiency in simple SQL, Python, data analysis, and campaign performance reporting
  • Proficiency in Javascript, CSS, HTML
  • Experience working with Content Management Systems (CMS)
  • Bonus points: familiarity or experience in React, Tailwind, and Next.js
  • Familiarity with WordPress and PHP
  • Experience troubleshooting digital marketing campaigns.
  • Strong understanding of marketing automation, lead generation, and workflow optimization
  • Familiarity with multi-channel marketing strategies, including email and SMS automation
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve technical issues quickly
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work across departments


Team Structure:

This role is cross-functional on the engineering and sales team and reports to the Lead Engineer but serves as a shared resource between the software engineering and marketing teams.


Location:

Pleasant Grove, UT (Hybrid/Remote consideration after preliminary period)

Core office hours 9am-5pm MT 


Salary:

$60k - $70k
