EconSys is hiring: Technical Writer in Falls Church

The Technical Writer is responsible for providing editorial and writing expertise for the development of various materials.

Key Responsibilities:

• Proofreads and edits written content for grammar, structure, tone, voice, consistency and plain language.
• Maintains document version control.
• Formats PowerPoint presentations for visual appeal and readability.
• Ensures all materials (i.e., Word documents, PDFs and PowerPoints) meet 508 compliance standards for accessibility.
• Collaborates with technical experts and subject matter experts.

• Proven experience exercising effective communication with various stakeholders.
• Understanding the products, services, and market to craft compelling documents.
• Consistently able to complete tasks on time.
• Must have excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Expertise in the MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).

Education/Certification Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in English, History, or Humanities required. Previous experience as a writer/editor or a similar role needed. Must be able to provide sample writings during the interview process.
