The Prime Video Sports team is seeking to change the way fans find and watch sports. We are looking for a passionate sports fan to help us build the future of sports on the biggest properties like NFL, NBA, Champions League and more.

Prime Video is changing the way millions of people watch movies, TV shows, and Live TV, with an incredible selection of titles available to watch no matter where you are in the world. This is an exciting time in video entertainment, with new business models and innovative experiences emerging, and Prime Video is on the forefront of disrupting the video entertainment industry.

We launched Prime Video worldwide in over 200 countries and territories and are innovating in the Live Sports business through streaming live events like the NFL Thursday Night Football, NBA and the English Premier League. And its still Day 1.

We are looking for a talented Sr. Product Manager to support Prime Video's sports channels offering. This is a strategic role to shape and deliver our product strategy in developing and delivering new and existing Live Sports offerings to customers worldwide, ensuring customers can easily find and subscribe to new sports channels offered on Prime Video.

Key job responsibilities

This role is critical in ensuring Prime Video meets our customers' high expectations and always helps them find new and relevant Live content. This role is inherently cross-functional - you will work closely with engineering, project management, design, operations, finance, legal, business development, customer service, content acquisition, operations, and executive teams to bring events to market, develop and grow business opportunities, and enhance our customer experience.

A successful candidate will be highly analytical, able to work effectively in a matrix organization, and adept at synthesizing a variety of inputs to deliver high quality products and solutions. You will own regular communication and presentations with senior leadership on technology, dependency management, availability, quality, and product health.

The ideal candidate will be a passionate sports fan with a history of delivering broadly adopted technology products or services in a high growth environment. You should be a strong leader who can prioritize well, communicate clearly and compellingly, and understand how to drive a high level of focus and excellence. You should have keen business sense and also have developed a deep understanding of technology.

A day in the life

This role will work cross functionally with internal partners from tech, bizdev, product, program and UX to build the best experience for our customers as well as with external partners from our partner leagues.

We are a team of passionate sports fans excited about innovating and changing the game for sports streaming. Our team is spread across Seattle, Austin, New York and Washington DC.

Basic Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree

- 5+ years of technical product or program management experience

- 2+ years of end to end product delivery experience

- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product

- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

- Experience managing technical products or online services

- Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight

- Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
