About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President for Government Relations and Communications to join its executive leadership team. The successful candidate will be instrumental in driving the company's government, public affairs, and communications strategy, particularly within the Aerospace and Defense sectors. This pivotal role involves policy analysis, direct lobbying, coalition building, and strategic communication to elevate the company's brand and mission-critical solutions. The Vice President will also be responsible for internal alignment, advocacy oversight, and providing strategic insights on political and regulatory trends. A key aspect of the position is engagement with high-level government officials and industry leaders, as well as managing the company's Political Action Committee activities. Candidates for this role at The Company should have a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 10 years' experience in government relations, public affairs, or a related field, with a proven track record in advocacy and policy influence. Experience in the Aerospace and Defense sectors is essential, and a Master's degree is preferred. The role requires a Secret security clearance, with a Top Secret clearance being a plus. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of legislative and regulatory trends, experience in a senior leadership role, and a strong network of relationships in the industry. The position demands a high degree of discretion, ethical standards, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
