Junior Production Artist
for a
candy retailer
client located in
Fort Lauderdale, FL . The ideal candidate will come with 2+ years of experience. This is a
part-time,
onsite (3x's a week- Tues., Wed., Thurs.)
contract opportunity
with the possibility of an extension . Compensation for this position is expected to be
$18-20/hour
depending on experience level and fit.
What You'll Do:
Handle artwork adaptation, mechanical production, photo retouching/manipulation, and pre-press tasks Assist Director of Merchandising with setting up product in the corporate office Ensuring integrity of design intent throughout the production process Creating brand guides and laying out digital representations of products Photo retouching, image manipulation, and product renders Obtaining, understanding, and implementing print/production specifications for each job Building final files for internal review and release to vendors Verifying accuracy of copy, regulated package elements Organizing and maintaining production files and master art as needed What You'll Need:
Education/Experience:
Associate's degree in design or certificate in related field Adobe Creative Suite is a must - InDesign, Photoshop etc. 2-3 years of experience (can include internships and 1 year of TRUE professional production experience)
