Job Summary:
The Visual Communications Specialist will work closely with key stakeholders and functional managers inside and outside human resources to drive enterprise-wide employee engagement. The ideal candidate will use best practices for delivering engaging content, training employees, and inspiring team members on a new and upcoming employee communication system. The Visual Communications Specialist will receive customer feedback and utilize data trends to generate ideas and increase university wide engagement to foster a high-performing organizational culture. The candidate will utilize design principles and tactics to develop creative assets that are clear, concise, and eye-catching to encourage action among audience members. The ideal candidate will ensure consistency in designs and content for each project and present design ideas to all the relevant stakeholders. Additionally, they will help develop communication and project plans as well as editorial calendars to spearhead rollouts of high-level employee communication that is both necessary and engaging in a timely manner.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, English, Marketing or related field and two years of relevant professional work experience required.
Preferred Qualifications:
A familiarity with content and layout design tools such as the Adobe Create Suite, Canva, and similar applications is preferred as well as experience with photography, videography, and video editing skills. The ability to keep updated on content, digital consumer trends, and technological advancements.
Work Days:
Monday-Friday, days
