We are searching for a skilled

Data Engineer

to join our Data Analytics and Visualization team. The ideal candidate will play a fundamental role in supporting data pipeline executions and designing high-quality technical solutions that meet product requirements and drive strategic decisions.

Responsibilities

Support data pipeline executions end to end from raw data to data re-structuring and sending it to Google product

Design modeling databases and contribute to building data platforms using classic data technologies and tools such as ETL/ELT

Implement Hybrid Data solutions and write project documentation

Work with product and engineering teams to understand data product requirements

Evaluate new features and data architecture to help drive decisions

Analyze business problems and technical environments to design high-quality technical solutions

Requirements

Extensive production experience working with SQL

Strong knowledge of Data Integration tools such as Pentaho, Talend, Informatica, Apache NiFi, KNIME and SSIS

Expert with Relational Databases such as SQL optimization, Relations, Stored Procedures, Transactions and Isolation Levels

Ability to troubleshoot outages as well as identify and trace performance issues

Comfortable with pattern-driven solutioning and choosing the business requirements considering technical constraints

Skilled in data-oriented programming languages such as SQL, Python, SparkSQL and PySpark

History working within Data Management, Data Storage, Data Analytics, Data Visualization, Data Integration and MDM

Hands on with data modeling using OLAP, OLTP, ETL and DWH

Familiar with Disaster Recovery and Data Security such as Row Level & Audits

Exposure to the Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
