Digital Marketing Manager

Job Summary:

The

Digital Marketing Manager

will advance the Institute's online presence and brand strategy. This position is responsible for developing and implementing digital campaigns that drive brand awareness, engagement, and conversions. Reporting to the Senior Director of Communications, the Manager collaborates with various teams to ensure cohesive messaging across channels and contributes significantly to optimizing our digital strategy. This role requires a dynamic leader with a strong understanding of digital marketing trends and the ability to leverage insights to enhance performance and engagement.

None. Duties/Responsibilities:

Create and implement comprehensive digital marketing strategies that align with business goals and target audience behavior with a strong focus on social media. Plan, execute, and optimize multi-channel digital marketing campaigns (PPC, SEO, email marketing, social media, content marketing, etc.) to drive traffic, engagement, and conversions. Collaborate with the communications, development, and programs teams to develop engaging, relevant, and high-converting content for TheIHS.org, social media, and other platforms to ensure cohesive messaging and campaign integration. Oversee SEO efforts, including keyword research, on-page optimization, and link-building strategies. Manage paid search campaigns and monitor their effectiveness. Manage front-end website edits and optimizations for TheIHS.org Manage the IHS Google Grant to maximize spend, brand awareness, and conversions. Design and execute social media strategies across platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, and more, to increase engagement and grow followers. Monitor, analyze, and report on digital marketing performance using tools like SuperMetrics, Google Analytics, Google Ads, and social media insights. Provide actionable recommendations for improvement. Implement A/B testing, user experience improvements, and optimization strategies to enhance website performance and increase lead generation. Keep up with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously innovate and improve the digital marketing efforts. Required Skills/Qualifications:

4+ years in a communications or marketing role with proven expertise as a Digital Marketing Manager or similar role.

Nonprofit or educational sectors highly preferred.

Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field preferred. Advanced knowledge of SEO, SEM, PPC, social media advertising, email marketing, and other digital marketing channels.

Experience with marketing tools and software, including Google Analytics 4, Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, and SproutSocial. Experience with A/B testing, and website optimization tools (e.g., HotJar) preferred.

Familiarity with WordPress, HTML, and CSS is preferred. Certifications in Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads preferred. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, optimize campaigns, and make data-driven decisions. Solid understanding of web metrics, digital analytics, and conversion optimization. Experience with CRM/marketing automation tools like Salesforce and Pardot is preferred. Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Interest in developing leadership skills, with potential to step into a management role.

Proven experience leading and managing teams a plus.
