Product Marketing Manager
Job Summary:
The Product Marketing Manager (PMM) is responsible for planning and executing marketing programs that help the organization achieve its market objectives. In this role, you will lead outbound strategic product marketing activities for a part of TeleTracking’s portfolio of solutions, including go-to-market plans, market segmentation, brand positioning and activation planning to drive demand.
The PMM is responsible for developing the positioning and messaging for our products and maintaining an in-depth understanding of the industry, market trends, competitive activity and competitive product/service offerings.
Strategic thinking, strong writing & verbal skills, attention to detail, along with the ability to grasp and translate technical capabilities into benefits are crucial in this role.
25% travel capabilities are necessary for this position.
Primary Responsibilities & Duties
- Customer retention -- Create compelling marketing content for integrated marketing campaigns and product promotion themes (blogs, white papers, guides, emails and videos) to educate and excite existing customers on the features and benefits of our services & solutions.
- Sales enablement – communicate value propositions to the commercial team, ensure that products are launched and marketed effectively to appropriate target clients via the appropriate channels and that commercial teams have the appropriate training and support. Develop tools that support the selling process, including marketing assets like presentations, literature, interactive content and video.
- Strategic marketing - develop and execute marketing programs and product messaging; deliver go-to market plans for new products and releases that include value definition, market segmentation, brand positioning, pricing strategy and activation planning, and manage the cross-functional activation of these plans.
- Marketing analytics – serve as the department expert on marketing analytics, segmentation, and SalesForce integration.
- Market intelligence – be the expert on our buyers, how they buy and their buying criteria; as well as on our competition and how to effectively compete, by consistently articulating both our core competencies and points of differentiation.
- Demand generation – collaborate with marketing communications to develop the strategy and lead marketing programs that drive demand for our products.
- Product ownership- represent product line as a subject matter expert in client presentations, partnership meetings, trade shows and other events.
Qualifications and Skills
- Thorough knowledge of marketing best practices including experience with CRM & inbound marketing programs.
- Ability to align product strategies with corporate initiatives.
- Ability to plan and implement complex objectives/plans.
- Working knowledge of communications tactics.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills.
- Strong presentation experience.
Work-Related Experience
- 5+ years’ strategic product marketing experience.
- Product marketing, product management, marketing communications experience.
- Experience with CRM and inbound marketing programs.
- Prior healthcare experience.
- Strong domain knowledge in marketing software or marketing to health systems and acute care hospitals.
Education and Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. (Required)
- Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. (Preferred)
