UI Designer/Wiki Designer

This is a position that requires you to be onsite in Seattle, Washington 5x a week. Remote is not an option for this position.
Our global technology client is looking for a UI Designer that will be responsible for designing the UI architecture, interaction flow, and aesthetics of new org wiki. We're looking for a Wiki architect designer and PM to create elegant, intuitive web interfaces that meet Kuiper’s Business Org’s needs. This designer will have a significant impact on Kuiper Biz Ops and on the creative direction of the internal Kuiper Wiki and Confluences.
Responsibilities:
- Designing the overall wiki architecture and structure to optimize knowledge management.
- Create user-centered designs by considering user feedback, and usability findings.
- Implementing and maintaining the wiki, including creating templates, setting permissions, and integrating with other systems.
- Monitoring wiki usage and engagement, and making improvements based on user feedback.
- Perform basic HTML and CSS edits to the website as needed.
- Analyze wiki analytics to identify areas for improvement and drive enhancements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as marketing, IT, and knowledge management, to align the wiki with business goals and requirements.
- Ensure wiki compliance with brand guidelines, accessibility standards, and best practices.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies to recommend and implement improvements to the wiki and website.
- Present design work to the BizOps and marketing team, product team, and kuiper BizOps stakeholder for review and feedback.
Required Skills and Experience
- 5+ years of experience in wiki architecture, implementation, and management, preferably with Confluence.
- Extensive experience in designing enterprise-level wiki structures and taxonomies to optimize knowledge management.
- Demonstrating experience creating great user-centered design solutions.
- Hands-on experience with Content Management Systems (CMS) and web programming (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Flash, Visual).
- Strong understanding of web best practices, user experience, and search engine optimization.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams
- Analytical mindset to interpret wiki data and make data-driven decisions
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Familiarity with web accessibility guidelines and compliance standards
- Proficiency in a variety of design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Fireworks, Visio, and Dreamweaver.
- Proficient in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) administration and development.
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $37.21 to $41.35 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
