DescriptionThe Apple Services Engineering Music Content Featuring Team is looking for a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to contribute to the fast paced growth of Apple's Media services business.
To support Apple's Media services business at web scale, we build sophisticated tools and backend systems for our content operations team, enabling them to merchandise and feature various type of media assets to different device platforms all over the world.
We are hiring a self starting, energetic team member who is not afraid to question assumptions and has excellent written and oral skills. Our engineers are responsible for the full lifecycle of application development: gathering requirements and scoping, designing and implementing data models and APIs, writing documents, setting up dashboards for monitoring, deploying sophisticated web applications and services. We look for good teammates who are able to work well across many teams to tackle tough problems and deliver imaginative solutions.

Minimum QualificationsMinimum of 7 years experience in a professional programming positionExpertise in Java, System Design and API developmentExpertise in Javascript and TypescriptPreferred QualificationsExperience in developing data intensive and complex web applicationsExperience with HDFS, Spark, Cassandra and KafkaFamiliarity with Machine Leaning, NLP and Vector dataset is plusAptitude to independently learn new technologies, and detail orientedHave a belief in automation and tooling as a critical part of the software lifecycleLove the idea of ownership and delivering high quality productsPay & BenefitsAt Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $166,600 and $296,300, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
