We are assembling a world-class product team focused on driving innovation and disrupting outdated practices. We are building software and technology that will streamline the apartment shopping journey, personalize the shopping experience, and establish Greystar as the top property manager for renters.We are building and scaling a resident-centric ecosystem of products, which enables us to have a 360 view of the prospect and resident to improve operational efficiency and resident satisfaction. As a UX Design Lead, you’ll work closely with product and engineering colleagues to design best-in-class experiences for renters. From searching for a new apartment, to signing a lease, to leveraging property resources through a mobile app, you’ll help craft the experiences that make living in a Greystar property memorable.JOB DESCRIPTIONKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Design user experiences for web, responsive web app, and native app surface areasLead design from beginning to end - research and strategy, to conceptualization, to detailed design, to supporting developmentDevelop a deep understanding of our business and business metrics - use these considerations in your design thinking and help us grow our businessWork closely with cross disciplinary partners in product management, data science, marketing, and sales to shape business opportunities and product strategyWork closely with engineering partners to determine feasibility and ensure design fidelityStudy the UX industry, and regularly analyze UX patterns and themes in other products, to help inspire designMaintain a working understanding of leading -edge web, mobile, and AI technologiesBASIC KNOWLEDGE & QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor’s/Master’s degree from an accredited college or university preferred in a design-related fields, or equivalent experience.5+ years of experience as a UX designerDemonstrated experience designing digital/software products from concept to market launchStrong design skills and good taste, demonstrated through a portfolio of design workExpert experience and knowledge of Figma including using design libraries, prototyping, and design for developmentExperience launching MVP solutions quickly, evaluating user data, and iterating through design improvementsExperience and success working in a cross-functional, dispersed team across multiple time zonesOrganized and process driven, with the ability to set clear expectations with stakeholdersExperience with product/project management software (Azure preferred)Knowledge of current software development and web technologiesExperience working in and creating design systemsSPECIALIZED SKILLS:Experience working in a modern software development environmentOpinionated, with a passion for product design and an obsession with the world of designForward thinking, with a passion for technology and a strong desire to stay updated with the latest technology trends and developmentsStrong communication and collaboration skills, experience managing expectations and priorities across multiple teams"Self-starter" attitude and the ability to make decisions with minimal guidance from others#LI-RF1The salary range for this position is $165,000-$190,000.Additional Compensation:Corporate Positions: In addition to the base salary, this role may be eligible to participate in an annual bonus program based on individual and company performance.Onsite Property Positions: In addition to the base salary, this role may be eligible to participate in weekly, monthly, and/or quarterly bonus programs.Robust Benefits Offered*:Competitive Medical, Dental, Vision, and Disability & Life insurance benefits.
