Video Production Director

Under the direct supervision of the Assistant Vice President, Marketing and Communications, the Video Production Director will be a critical member of the marketing team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Video Production Director will lead visual storytelling for the organization. The Video Production Director is responsible for planning, scheduling and filming all productions. Final products will be repurposed for targeted campaigns, audiences and digital platforms as needed. The Video Production Director will work closely with the creative team, developing strategies for leveraging digital assets. The Video Production Director is responsible for cataloging and preserving all the organization's digital assets.

Requirements:
  • Regular and on-time attendance
  • Hours may exceed 40 hours per week
  • Occasional travel by conventional means including aircraft, motor vehicle and the like within the region and to other locations as required.
  • Attend company sponsored events that relate to the development of the team, which from time to time may include overnight stays at locations away from the employee's home.


SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

The Video Production Director will need to have the ability to create emotional and educational content to enhance the reputation of the organizations, while creating a professional and branded look for all organizational videos and photos. In this role, the Media Production Manager must have strong filming, photography and editing skills to tell a visually compelling story.

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION

  • Must have 5 to 10 years of solid experience in the media field and practical experience in production, including editing, recording, filming, and lighting.
  • BA degree preferred; but equivalent work experience will be considered.
