Job Description:The Inside Used Remarketing Representative optimizes retail sales of used equipment through inbound leads from advertising, referrals, and prospecting. The position enhances wholesale sales of used equipment through auction houses, retail dealers, and brokers as directed by management. Additionally, this role pursues internet leads with a strong import and export experience in support of marketing efforts related to digital advertising and display of used equipment as directed by management. The role maintains a database of potential retail and wholesale used equipment buyers and provides insight through data and market intelligence related to used equipment values. Responsible for used equipment retail sales, promotion of used products, and relationship building with used equipment buyers.Regularly monitors and tracks competitive activities with consistent and accurate reporting to management.Consistent use of used equipment tools e.g. Evaluation Check List, Iron Guide, other Industry data, Store Retail Data, etc.Creates monthly reports with aging, pricing, and profitability figures.Works with HCE Management in developing actions to achieve used equipment profitability and inventory turn targets.Responsible for selling HCE Used Equipment outside HCE Territory, with Management approval.Responsible for selling HCE Equipment to Jockey’s and through Auctions; dealings with Jockey’s must be approved by HCE Management. Selling through auctions must be approved by Head of Commercial Development North America.Provides current and accurate information on Used Equipment Listings for HCE Website.Builds strong working relationships with the HCE Retail Sales Team and assists with training and growing Salespersons’ knowledge of Used Equipment Evaluations. Responsible for identifying and developing new used accounts, retaining customers, growing revenue, and strengthening the overall relationship with existing used customers.Responds to used equipment customer queries and identifies new business opportunities amongst existing customers.Actively liaise with cross-functional internal teams to improve the entire customer experience. Your profile:4 year College Degree in Agriculture or related field or equivalent experience, required.Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in used large machinery sales or experienced remarketing capacity with agricultural equipment manufacturer, preferred.Must have solid knowledge about farming business and the economics that drives farmers’ decision making.Farming background desirable with previous experience in application, adjustment, setting, and safe operation of farm equipment.Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.Excellent problem analysis and problem-solving skill set.Knowledge of CLAAS products and retail finance process, a plus.
