SUMMARY
The Director, Creative Project Management will act as the operations lead within the Creative team, working across BSE Global brands including the Brooklyn Nets and Barclays Center. The role will serve as a strategic thought partner and trusted resource for colleagues across the organization, working closely with multiple business units. This individual will play a critical role in driving operational efficiency and streamlining processes, while ensuring we unlock best-in-class creative work that aligns with brand objectives and guidelines.
The Director should be a seasoned creative professional with a deep understanding of design, branding, and content creation across various platforms and mediums. The role will focus on streamlining workflows, refining processes and ensuring communication is proactive and consistent across the life cycle of projects. The role will closely collaborate with leaders across the Marketing department to drive campaigns and projects to completion on brief and within timelines.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Develop and implement strategic plans and tactics to optimize Creative operations and drive efficiency, scalability, and effectiveness across all creative functions.
- Lead and manage a team of Creative operations professionals to ensure the successful project management and execution of projects that require creative output.
- Collaborate with Art Directors, Graphic Designers and Copywriters, to download on briefs, identify deliverables, and establish clear workflows and processes for each project.
- Oversee the full project lifecycle, from intake, to resource planning, to production, review, and delivery, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
- Craft project management methodologies, tools, and best practices to streamline workflows, improve collaboration, drive continuous improvement, and budget efficiency across the team.
- Manage resource allocation and capacity planning to ensure that creative teams are appropriately staffed and resourced to meet project demands and deadlines.
- Establish trust-based relationships with key stakeholders and clients across the organization, inclusive of Executive leaders, to best steward projects on their behalf.
- Serve as a liaison between the Creative team and the rest of the Marketing department, ensuring alignment on project goals, timelines, accountabilities, processes and deliverables.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence within the creative organization, and empower individuals to take ownership of their work and drive continuous improvement.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, and innovation, and lead the implementation of new tools, technologies, and workflows to enhance productivity.
WHO YOU ARE:
- 7+ years of experience in creative operations, project management, and/or related roles, with a proven track record of success in leading and managing creative teams and projects.
- Experience working in Marketing departments and/or at agencies in Creative & Operational roles
- Proven track record of driving operational excellence, process improvement, and efficiency gains within a creative organization.
- Possess a strong understanding of creative workflows, processes, and best practices across various mediums including digital, social media, print, photography, video, and multimedia.
- Foundational project management skills, with expertise using methodologies and tools such as Monday.com.
- A creative problem solver, with the analytical, organizational and leadership capabilities to manage multiple projects at a growing company.
- A consummate team player and thoughtful collaborator, with a passion for innovation and creative excellence.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and influence cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Strong written & verbal communicator, with the ability to lead meetings and present concepts.
- Analytically minded with the ability to analyze complex issues, identify root causes, and develop effective solutions.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
