People in the Corporate Function contribute to the running of Accenture as a high-performance business through specialization within a specific functional area, and grow into internally focused roles by deepening their skills and/or developing new skills within an internal functional area.

Position Description & Responsibilities

Working as part of Accenture's Technology Marketing + Communications team, this position will be responsible for developing and supporting internal and external marketing and communications programs including that support key business priorities.

We are looking for a marketing and communications professional who can effectively influence and collaborate across Accenture. In this role, you must be able to quickly understand, analyze and communicate technology innovations and trends and enjoy working in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.

While there is never a typical day at Accenture, and that's the beauty of it, here are a few highlights about the role:
  • Help plan, develop and implement marketing and communications initiatives that build Accenture's position and image in the marketplace with our clients, our people and key influencers, working in areas such as Cloud, Security, Data & AI, Ecosystem Partners and more.
  • Help manage campaigns and activities that include content such as PoVs and other thought leadership, internal and external events, employee and candidate engagement programs, client stories, events, social media, executive positioning and more.
  • Support Accenture-owned and third-party events by working on event-related internal and external communications, client invitations, content, web pages and other marketing materials.
  • Assist in developing written content, PowerPoint presentations and other materials for marketing campaigns and events.
  • Collaborate with various marketing and creative teams to help write and deliver internal and executive communications through various channels.
  • Assist in planning and creating external communications for various channels, including email, video, blogs, accenture.com pages, infographics and social media.
  • Draft content for internal and external communications including executive and employee comms, presentations, videos, social media, infographics and content for Accenture.com and our internal portal.
  • Work with internal and external agencies, writers and creative designers as needed.
  • Conduct market, competitor and other research.
  • Manage workflow using relevant tools to support strategic planning, marketing operations, budgeting and reporting.


Experience
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in marketing and communications
  • Bachelor's degree


Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree preferred in marketing, communications or related
  • Experience in the technology industry and/or for a large, global organization is highly desirable
  • This role requires both excellent written and verbal communication skills in English including the ability to present and communicate ideas clearly and persuasively
  • Ability to digest complex issues and topics and communicate them in a way to make them easily understood by a broad audience
  • Strong organizational, program and time management skills, with a demonstrated ability to meet milestones, tight deadlines and communicate status on concurrent projects
  • Demonstrated marketing program management and ability to manage to assigned budgets and financial protocols and compliance
  • Strong PowerPoint skills
  • Ability to be flexible and work analytically in a virtual, problem-solving environment
  • Able to work effectively and independently and at speed across functional and geographic groups
  • Personal flexibility to work virtually, sometimes in the office and travel if required
  • Willingness to participate in meetings outside of regular business hours to accommodate other time zones
  • Sensitivity to the cultural variances across different countries
  • Demonstrated leadership in professional setting; either military or civilian
  • Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration in a professional setting, either military or civilian


Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York or Washington as set forth below.
