Position Summary:

The Creative Project Manager will play a pivotal role in orchestrating the successful execution of our B2B and B2C creative projects. This individual will embody key values of organization, adaptability, and exceptional communication skills, serving as the linchpin between our stakeholders, creative team, content team, sales team and external vendors. Responsibilities will include meticulous project planning and scheduling, seamless coordination of diverse creative projects, adept team management to ensure expectations are met, and diligent oversight of quality assurance processes.

The ideal candidate will possess technical proficiency in project management tools such as Monday or Jira, alongside a basic understanding of design and development processes. Previous experience in creative project management, particularly within advertising, marketing, or design agencies, will be highly valued, as well as a keen awareness of industry-specific PM trends and terminology.

As a Creative Project Manager, you must be an excellent communicator, an enthusiastic and proactive problem solver who works well in a team-oriented, collaborative environment and someone who thrives on being engaged at all levels of the project, possessing an extreme sense of ownership, responsibility, and accountability to see a project through from start to finish. Excellent time management skills are essential-both in the moment and when looking ahead, using everything about a project timeline and team's strengths to perform risk assessments and spot bottlenecks before they turn into real issues.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

To perform this position successfully, an individual must fulfill the knowledge, skill, and/or ability requirements listed below.
  1. Lead the end-to-end management of creative projects, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams including designers, copywriters, and marketing strategists to translate client objectives into compelling creative solutions.
  2. Develop and maintain creative project timelines, budgets, and creative resource allocations, while proactively identifying and mitigating risks, ensuring that all teams meet their deadlines, with a focus on pre-launch activities
  3. Serve as the main point of contact for between teams and clients, providing regular updates on project progress, managing expectations, resolving conflicts, escalating issues when necessary, and addressing feedback.
  4. Identify potential risks and challenges throughout the project lifecycle, understanding the downstream impact of upstream activities and proactively addressing issues.
  5. Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment, nurturing the professional growth and development of junior team members.
  6. Continuously evaluate and refine internal processes to optimize efficiency and drive excellence in project delivery.

  • Strong project management skills with a proven track record of interacting with Creative, Marketing, and Operations/Digital teams.

Preferred Education Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline preferred; certifications are a plus but not required (e.g. PMP, CPM, etc.)

Preferred Experience:
  • A minimum of 3-5+ years of creative project management experience e.g. creative agencies and directing creative teams.
  • A thorough understanding of creative processes and the ability to find innovative solutions during project challenges, while maintaining brand consistency and high-quality outputs.
  • The capacity to effectively communicate with both creative teams and stakeholders, facilitate the creative review process and ensure alignment across the supply marketing line of business.
  • Working knowledge of creative tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) to understand design workflows and effectively communicate with the creative team.
  • Competence in using additional project management software, such as Jira or Monday.com, to support task management and collaboration.
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office and Slack is a plus.
  • Brand management skills and the ability to differentiate between brand needs.
