Our New York based Carat Team is looking to add an Associate Director, Media Planning to their team. We are a close knit and collaborative group. We get to support one of the largest CPG companies in the world. This is an opportunity to help us build lasting relationships with new business. This is a remote opportunity with Central Time Zone working hours.

As the Associate Director, Media Planning, your role is a leadership role and a managerial one. Reporting to the Senior Director, Media Planning, you will set the working style for the group, lead the strategic direction and is a marketing partner for your clients. You will develop 2+ junior level team members. You are expected to be an expert on the clients' business and a leader on the daily client business and within the agency. Demonstrate a working knowledge of the media space, for digital and also traditional channels, and available media research.

Media Planning:
  • Develop fully integrated media plans for brand and assigned campaigns
  • Analyze consumer behavior, market trends and brand's goals to best reach target audience
  • Accountable for media plan output, accuracy, and overall excellence
  • Work with activation department lead (programmatic, social, search, retail search, and shopper) to outline appropriate processes and timelines
  • Maintain relationships with media community; continue to develop publisher and higher relationships for exchange of ideas
Client & Internal/External Relationships:
  • Be the central contact across investment, strategy, analytics, and creative teams
  • Build trusting, collaborative relationships with clients at appropriate levels
  • Manage expectations of clients and deliverables
  • Grow business opportunities within current clients
  • Develop junior level members of the team for career growth

Qualifications
  • 4+ years of fully integrated media planning experience (multi-channel, traditional and digtial)
  • Subject matter expert in traditional, digital media, strategy creation and media planning
  • Subject matter expert in audience research and targeting
  • Experience developing multiple tactical campaigns digital channels
  • Working knowledge of Insights tools such as MRI and Simmons and tools like Nielsen Ad Intel and Kantar Stradegy
  • Experience with MediaTools and buying platforms such as DDS, MediaOcean, HudsonMX
  • Experience with DCM, and other digital media related tools (comScore, eMarketer, Forrester...)

The anticipated salary range for this position is $78,000 - $126,500 Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography.
