The Dir, US Commercial Marketing primary responsibility is to drive patient adoption and generate revenue by increasing sales through successful marketing using market and competitive research, marketing education, marketing communications, product marketing, advertising and public relations. Externally, they will partner effectively with key opinion leaders and clinicians (interventional cardiologists, surgeons, critical care physicians, and heart failure cardiologists) to identify unmet clinical needs and growth opportunities. The person will have a solid understanding of clinical evidence and develop messaging for the field organization. The ideal candidate for this role is a proven marketing strategist who can both lead and “do", with very keen writing, presentation and slide development skills. The candidate should enjoy going deep in clinical science and sharing with a variety of audiences, including internal stakeholders, hospital administrators, physicians and patients. Drive Commercial Results: Leading a US direct and matrixed marketing team to implement strategic and tactical marketing programs Driving global demand generation and increasing win rate Building positioning, messaging and content on multiple platforms Establish and monitor metrics to ensure marketing strategies, programs, and activities are executed effectively and delivering impact Establish and implement campaign channel strategy for outbound marketing with strong focus on leveraging digital channels Work cross-functionally to develop and implement global content and campaigns Implement standard work and communications to maintain global and regional marketing team alignment Understand regional market dynamics to drive global marketing strategy Positioning and Messaging: Develop messaging designed to drive adoption, promote best practices and address barriers Write value propositions, positioning, and messaging Write subject matter for core marketing and sales collateral Drive creation of competitive differentiated positioning based on deep understanding of customers Grow market visibility and improve therapy awareness Qualifications A minimum of 10+ years marketing experience and 3+ years managing teams, with solid business acumen and knowledge of medical device market environment is required. A bachelor's degree is required. MBA degree is preferred. Marketing experience in the cardiology space is strongly preferred. Very strong powerpoint skill is essential. Digital marketing experience is a plus. Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment. Possesses good organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks through effective prioritization in order to meet tight deadlines in an environment of competing priorities. Demonstrated ability to conceive, develop and implement strategies, convert these into tactical marketing plans and deliver results. Ability to understand, interpret and manage clinical data from both presentations and publications. Ability to effectively influence and collaborate with multiple stakeholders through utilization of organizational channels, experience and influencing skills to persuade others of the course of action. Excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills for a wide variety of audiences, including sales & marketing leadership. The anticipated base pay range for this position is $146,000 - $251,000 The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year.
