National Award-Winning Studio & Winner of Design Firm of the Year is actively seeking a Senior Architectural Designer to join their Los Angeles, San Diego, Berkeley, or Rancho Cucamonga office. - Generate innovative architectural design concepts and shepherd them through various design stages.
- Collaborate effectively within a design team environment and engage with senior management to translate ideas into tangible designs.
- Demonstrate exceptional interpersonal skills, combining tenacity with humility in interactions with colleagues and clients alike.
- Showcase strong graphic design and sketching abilities, effectively communicating ideas and concepts.
- Deliver compelling presentations of design proposals, captivating audiences with your vision.
- Stay updated on architectural & interior finishes, along with design trends to ensure the relevance and appeal of design solutions.
- Prioritize client service, embodying dedication and responsiveness to client needs.
Education and Work Experience Requirements
- Preferably licensed as an Architect, although not mandatory.
- Possess 5-10+ years of professional experience in architectural design.
- Experience with higher education and/or K-12 project types in California preferred.
- Proficiency in Revit Architecture and Sketchup is essential.
- Familiarity with ACAD, Photoshop, and other 3D modeling and rendering software such as Lumion and Enscape.
- Strong customer service orientation, coupled with excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to thrive under pressure, effectively managing multiple projects and deadlines.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective interaction with senior management, clients, and vendors.
- Familiarity with Design Thinking methodologies for client and team engagement.
- Understanding of systems integration and sustainability practices is a plus.
