Description

Markon is seeking a senior graphic designer to support our Intelligence Customer.

Responsibilities

  • Develop graphics, digital media, cartography, and other multimedia products
  • Utilize request management tools to provide swift, high quality customer support for communication requests
  • Coordinate with UI/UX designer in Knowledge Management, to ensure graphics products provide an engaging and user friendly experience
  • Create graphic designs for a variety of written and digital products
  • Develop design concepts and implement designs for new web pages, mobile applications, newsletters, ads, infographics, banners, illustrations, logos, and other types of digital content that will be presented online
  • Ensure products conform to all production standards, copywrite laws, accessibility compliance requirements, public release clearances
  • Conduct technical quality checks
  • Manage an approved concept and build in HTML/CSS so it complies with responsive design principles
  • Provide Cartography support, as needed, to design thematic and reference maps


Qualifications

  • 18 years of experience with a BS or 10 years of experience with a MS
  • Demonstrated experience leading the development of graphics, digital media, cartography, and other multimedia products
  • Experience with front-end web design, UI/UX, HTML/CSS
  • Experience with photography and video editing
  • Experience creating graphics products that provide an engaging and user friendly experience
  • Experience creating graphic designs for a variety of written and digital products
  • Experience developing design concepts and implements designs for new web pages, mobile applications, newsletters, ads, infographics, banners, illustrations, logos, and other types of digital content presented online
  • Experience ensuring products conform to all production standards, copywrite laws, accessibility compliance requirements, public release clearances
  • Experience conducting technical quality checks


Salary Range

USD $135,000.00 - USD $155,000.00 /Yr.

The Markon pay range for this position is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
