We are hiring a Director of Sales & Marketing at our Marriott Hutchinson Island Resort, Golf, & Marina in Stuart, Florida. This 275 room hotel has an 18-hole executive golf course, six pickleball courts, direct beach access, and a private marina. We offer newly redesigned guestrooms with private balconies and astonishing views. Our innovative menus are crafted to elevate your culinary journey. Boasting 30,000 sq. ft. of versatile indoor and outdoor spaces

We are seeking an experienced sales leader who has a proven track record of effectively leading teams to effective teams, and also developing solid relationship with customers and hotels owners.

The DOS will provide complete and appropriate solutions for every customer in order to boost top-line revenue growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide the highest quality of service to our customers at all times.
  • Develop and execute strategies to drive business in new and existing markets.
  • Establish and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
  • Understand and keep up to date with industry and competitive landscape knowledge.
  • Guide sales and marketing efforts as well as advertising tasks, public relations and administrative reporting.
  • Define and implement sales and marketing activities according to the Marketing Plan.
  • Prioritize, document, and organize work to meet deadlines .
  • Lead and develop a high-quality sales team.


Qualifications:

  • 3+ years experience sales experience at a beach resort; experience in creatively marketing a reimagined resort.
  • Prior Marriott experience desirable.
  • Experience as a Director of Sales in the Florida markets preferable.
  • Strategic thinking and analytical skills required.
  • Ability to successfully lead a large team
  • Leisure travel industry, business transient, group and catering experience preferred.
  • Prior experience leading, motivating and managing successful sales teams.
  • Ability to sell traditional hotel rooms and condo style suites.
  • Strong marketing, social media and PR background.
  • Results driven.

Pay Range: $93,000 - $116,000
