Our Marketing team is seeking an experienced Automation Specialist with a strong Marketo background to take our email marketing activities to the next level. Do you love and have proven success with marketing operations and managing Marketo programs? Do you geek out about acquisition funnels, multi-channel campaigns, and A/B testing? Are you the go-to person when it comes to analyzing data to better understand customer behavior?
As a key member of the Marketing team, the Marketing Automation Specialist will use passion for marketing automation to optimize and scale our communication efforts. Reporting to the Marketing Director, the successful candidate will have a strong desire to continuously analyze and innovate in a dynamic environment and will not be afraid to use creative thinking to drive change to our communication processes. In addition, this person will be expected to be proactive and leverage automation and technical know-how to support and scale the business. Our headquarters are in Scottsdale, Arizona but this position can be performed remotely anywhere in the India.
What you'll do:
Marketo management
• Responsible for Marketo email marketing program development and execution, including segmentation, testing, and deployment, and continually evaluating these for improvements
• Ability to build, design, and manage Marketo templates, landing pages, forms, and reports
• Experience managing key marketing operations projects such as lead scoring, routing, form optimizations, and funnel reporting
• Plan and perform A/B testing to define and execute enhancements to productivity, conversion rates, programs/campaign ROI, and sales growth
• Implement tracking links and tagging to support comprehensive reporting model
• Manage the Marketo database (segmentation, list acquisitions, bulk loads)
Coordination/integration with CRM
• Maintain marketing automation integration with CRM and business systems and assist in integrating additional platforms into Marketo
• Support essential marketing operations initiatives in Marketo and Salesforce, which may include managing the lead lifecycle, lead scoring, lead nurturing, segmentation, and data cleansing
• Maintain the marketing automation processes, procedures, programs, technical processes, and workflows between Marketo and Salesforce
Metrics, intelligence, and best practices
• Responsible for the reporting and measurements of email marketing campaigns
• Understand and evaluate campaign metrics and performance within Marketo and connected analytics platforms.
• Leverage strong analytical skills and proficiency in multivariate testing to effectively turn reporting and analysis into actionable insights and strategies
• Create monthly performance reports that provide deep data-driven insights about customer needs and behaviors to fuel innovation and identify strategic initiatives that will drive engagement, revenue, and growth
• Manage marketing automation efforts and processes, proactively researching and implementing the latest best practices, strategies, and industry standards
Internal collaboration skills
• Manage global email calendar and coordinating with internal stakeholders
• Collaborate cross-functionally to achieve goals and optimize communication with all internal stakeholders
Requirements
What you bring to the table:
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Marketing and/or Business
• 5-7 years marketing automation experience in Marketo, including lists segmentation, template creation, campaign design, execution and reporting
• MCA/MCE - Marketo Certified Associate or Marketo Certified Expert a definite plus
• Experience managing and reporting on digital marketing programs
• Experience in evolving marketing programs based on performance data, feedback from sales and understanding of the business
• Experience with Salesforce a big plus
• Experience with Google Analytics
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365
• Experience working remotely is a plus
