Good Karma Brands and ESPN West Palm is in need of an experienced, creative Director of Marketing for our ESPN West Palm market. In the city of West Palm, sports fans are passionate, fiercely loyal and dedicated to their teams, and ESPN West Palm delivers that energy right back to the fans and partners that support the station now we are looking for a passionate Director of Marketing to help lead our marketing and branding initiatives into the future.
The Role of a Director of Marketing
The primary role of the Director of Marketing is to oversee the development and implementation of all marketing
strategies for ESPN West Palm, working closely with the leadership team to ideate, create, and execute current and new marketing initiatives encompassing branding efforts, event strategy, marketing materials and more! As the Director of Marketing, you will have a hand in all aspects of the sales and marketing process including brainstorming fresh ideas, station and company events, promotions and contests with local shows and talent, and overall brand identity while working hand in hand with all departments of the ESPN West Palm team to bring these visions to life!

This is an exempt role with a competitive base salary. This role is eligible for full benefits including health, dental and vision insurance, Life Insurance, STD, LTD, 401(k) Plan, Dependent Care, paid parental leave, and more with opportunities for salary growth increase with skills and responsibilities and meeting targeted goals. The position will be required to work some evenings and weekends.

Daily Tasks of a Director of Marketing
- Work directly with ESPN West Palm Market Manager and Director of Sales on the below:
- Have ownership and oversight of the ESPN Cleveland Marketing Department and serve as the intersection between content, sales, and marketing teams
- Create ideas that will grow our brand and relationships with our fans, partners, and teammates
- Strategize to ideate and create sales and marketing materials and campaigns for big programs
- Collaborate with internal teams and oversee how ESPN West Palm goes to market with advertising partners
- Partner with the Partnership Success Manager on all executional elements with advertising partnerships
- Steward of the ESPN West Palm brands and Good Karma Brands within West Palm
- Develop relationships with area organizations and work with them to create successful, customized marketing solutions
- Oversee all marketing strategies including social media, contests, promotions, internship program, marketing campaigns, brand identity, etc.
- Oversee all social media efforts including improving quality/consistency/and quantity of social content
- Responsible for growing number of followers and engagement on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram
- Work with Director of Content on growing subscribers/viewers on ESPN West Palm You Tube pages
- Find new platforms for ESPN West Palm and content teammates to connect with fans
- Create and/or manage creation of recaps from big events and partnerships for current and future partnerships
- Update media kits
- Create, manage, and execute promotions, contests, and events
- Manage all event and marketing teammates
- Present marketing updates/concepts in sales meetings
- Be proactive in creating and finding solutions to daily challenges throughout the office and GKB
- Manage Marketing Budget
- Work with ESPN West Palm signage and promotional vendors
- Maintain ESPN West Palm brand in the community and manage adherence to Brand ID Guidelines
- Management of ESPN West Palm Internship program
- Other assigned tasks

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop
- Strong knowledge in social media & You Tube
