The Trade Marketing team serves as the primary marketing contact for all Future sales teams and evangelizes and communicates Future's brand to our advertising partners and media supporters through strategic campaigns and creative story-telling.

Marketing is responsible for Future brand building, external communications, client engagement events, and lead generation through thoughtful content marketing campaigns. The objective of the team is to drive awareness of Future and create commercial opportunities by creating engaging sales collateral and content.

Job Purpose

The Senior Manager, Trade Marketing is a key position with a focus on driving awareness of Future and building productive relationships with the Advertising Sales team. As the Senior Manager, you will deliver creative marketing plans and collateral that builds our reputation and attract advertisers. The post will refine the Future market positioning and the value proposition for our advertising partners in categories including fashion, beauty, tech, gaming, home interest, and more.

Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you will join a thriving team of commercially-minded marketing professionals making an impact on renowned brands like Marie Claire, Tom's Guide, PC Gamer, Homes & Gardens, and more. You will play a key role in liaising with internal stakeholders including our sales and editorial partners. A successful track record of crafting revenue-driving marketing plans for media or advertising companies is important for this role.

Experience that will put you ahead of the curve...
  • 3+ years of experience working with media and advertising organizations; knowledge of the industry
  • Experience delivering brand-building marketing activities and creating sales materials for revenue-generating teams, or highly related experience
  • Experience building marketing plans and executing campaigns across digital, content, social, and events
  • Comfortable with various types and sources of data, with the ability to create narratives from data-led insights
  • Manage events and projects from idea generation to execution
  • Known for producing compelling content and promoting content through owned and paid channels to successfully generate demand
  • User of marketing automation tools and CRM systems including Marketo and Salesforce experience
  • Highly driven and collaborative, with a proven ability to work directly with senior executives, a passion for media and marketing, and a curious attitude

Please note, the salary range for this position is $100,000 - $115,000

This is a Hybrid role from our New York office, working three days from the office, two from home
