Bloomberg Television is looking for a highly motivated Booking Producer to join our flagship programs.
You will be responsible for identifying top-tier guests, cultivating relationships, monitoring the news and taking the initiative on covering breaking news, finding the appropriate voices under deadline pressure.
You will conduct pre-interviews and do background research on all guests and topics.
You should have a broad interest in global news with a focus on finance and the economy.
You embrace challenges, can make split-second decisions, thrive in a fast-paced environment and are an effective communicator across a global newsroom.

- Research and pitch segment ideas
- Be proactive - pitch ideas, be creative, bring your expertise to the table and elevate our content.
- Book newsmakers and develop relationships within the business, finance and public relations communities globally.
- Work closely with the executive producer, show producers and talent on segments
- Work well under pressure in a fast-paced newsroom environment, be able to pivot and react as news events evolve.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- At least 5 years of experience booking and/or producing for live TV
- Knowledge of business news and the financial markets.
- Problem solving skills, with the ability to work under deadline pressure
- Flexibility with hours and early morning start times
