POSITION
Sunwater Capital Management is seeking a Marketing and Communications Manager drive the commercial success of Sunwater's portfolio. The covered businesses include a revolutionary data and analytics platform aimed at the US Congress and government affairs community, and a unique mergers and acquisitions data platform for the healthcare and senior living industries. The Marketing and Communications Manager will develop and execute strategies to reach target audiences, manage social media, oversee the production of written, audio, and video content, and help drive partnerships and collaborations.

The Marketing and Communications Manager will develop and execute strategies to reach target audiences, manage social media, oversee the production of written, audio, and video content, and help drive partnerships and collaborations.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the executive team on brand position and public relations
- Identify and prioritize target audiences and build relevant lists
- Track, analyze, and report on metrics related to distribution, content consumption, and lead generation
- Develop and execute marketing plans and provide support for fundraising activities
- Manage vendors and portfolio team members
- Manage website, social media accounts, and other distribution channels
- Drive and develop content - preparation, writing, editing, and distribution of newsletters, articles, press releases, blogs, audio, video, and social media posts
- Develop relationships with relevant media and influencers
- Identify and manage presence at relevant conferences on Capitol Hill and at industry events
Requirements
- Interest in public policy, government affairs, and private equity
- 5+ years of relevant marketing/communications experience
- Experience and network within the public policy community and/or the healthcare private equity sector
- Experience with salesforce.com and marketing and communications platforms
- Ability to leverage quantitative analytics and adjust strategies accordingly
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
- Established relationships with relevant media organizations
- Available to work full time in person at the North Bethesda office
