Who you are:
As the Manager, Performance Marketing, you will play a critical role in shaping the advertising strategy of one of Canada's most recognizable brands, .CA, the iconic symbol of Canada on the Internet. You are passionate about representing a strong brand and will use your depth of experience in performance and digital marketing to innovate and bring new ideas to .CA's creative and digital media strategy.
As a seasoned marketer, you're not afraid to tackle tough problems or have challenging conversations in pursuit of campaign objectives. You possess strong analytical skills and love to dive deep into campaign results to inform strategy and continually optimize performance.
You have a strong background in digital and social media, with experience running performance marketing campaigns, overseeing creative and media agencies and managing campaigns budgets. You are the type of individual who thrives in a role that combines your biggest strengths: strategy, planning, creativity and execution. What you do:
- Lead the planning and execution of performance marketing campaigns for .CA domains, helping to drive new domain sales
- Use customer insights, campaign results, and market and competitive intelligence to design campaigns that grow the adoption and retention of .CA domains.
- Lead creative and media planning activities with agencies, determining the right creative approach, and best channels, strategies and tactics to reach .CA's target audiences.
- Manage the .CA campaigns budget across media channels, ensuring efficient spending and the ability to scale best performing campaigns.
- Oversee agency relationships at the operational day-to-day level and be accountable for quality of agency output and program delivery.
- Run A/B tests and other experiments to continually optimize campaigns and improve .CA's conversion rates.
- Collaborate internally to define, measure and report performance of all campaigns and assess against goals (ROI/ROAS and other KPIs).
- Oversee .CA's SEM efforts, including strategy, budget, keyword research, and reporting, with a goal to improve ROAS.
- Test new ways to drive traffic and engagement on .CA web pages. Continually evaluate and optimize the user experience.
- Work closely with the Channel team to integrate campaign activity with .CA's channel as required.
What you bring:
- 10+ years of experience in increasingly senior marketing roles with focused experience developing and executing performance marketing campaigns.
- Experience in both B2B and B2C marketing.
- Experience managing creative and media agency relationships and campaign budgets.
- Significant, hands-on experience using Google Ads, Google Analytics, Bing, Meta, YouTube, TikTok and other social and display media platforms.
- University degree in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working with Mixed Media Modeling is an asset.
- Bilingualism in French and English is highly desirable.
