Marketplaces Media Specialist

Performance Health is seeking a creative and data-driven Marketplaces Media Specialist to manage and optimize paid media campaigns across various online marketplaces such as Amazon, Walmart, Target, and others. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with advertising platforms native to these marketplaces, possess strong analytical skills, and be able to execute media strategies that drive sales, increase visibility, and maximize ROI.

Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities

Campaign Management:
  • Develop, launch, and optimize paid media campaigns on marketplace platforms (e.g., Amazon Sponsored Products, Walmart Sponsored Search).
  • Monitor and adjust bidding strategies, keywords, and ad placements to improve campaign performance.
  • Manage daily ad budgets, targeting strategies, and A/B testing of creatives and landing pages.


Performance Analysis:
  • Analyze performance data to identify trends and insights, using rules and automations on metrics like ROAS, CPA, CPC, and conversion rates to optimize campaigns.
  • Generate regular reports on campaign performance, sales trends, and customer behavior for stakeholders.
  • Use insights to provide recommendations for future campaigns and improve ongoing efforts.


Marketplace Strategy:
  • Stay up to date on marketplace advertising tools, retailer media platform updates, and overall industry best practices.
  • Develop and implement strategies for improving organic rankings and paid visibility within specific marketplaces and key search queries to drive growth.
  • Work with cross-functional teams including product, sales, and brand marketing to align marketplace advertising strategies with overall business goals.


Optimization and Testing:
  • Conduct keyword research to identify opportunities for growth and optimization within marketplace platforms.
  • Implement and test new campaign formats, targeting tactics, and creative strategies to drive continuous improvement.
  • Manage product listings to ensure they are optimized for both organic and paid search within each marketplace.


Collaboration:
  • Work closely with the creative and content teams to ensure all marketplace ads align with the brand's visual and messaging guidelines.
  • Coordinate with inventory and supply chain teams to ensure ads are promoting products with adequate stock and availability.
  • Maintain relationships with marketplace account managers and retailers to stay informed on new features, beta opportunities, and best practices.
  • Performs other duties as assigned


Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years of experience managing media campaigns on marketplaces (Amazon, Walmart, etc.).
  • Proficiency with marketplace ad platforms such as Amazon Advertising Console, Walmart Connect, Pacvue, etc.
  • Strong understanding of PPC, SEO, and digital advertising best practices.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Strong understanding of e-commerce and online consumer behavior.

  • This is a full-time position with a base salary range of $75,000 - $90,000 and the opportunity to earn bonus, plus benefits.
