POSITION SUMMARY: The SVP, National Sales, East Region will own the revenue and growth targets for their region by overseeing a team of VP's and Account Executives, as well as the support staff, responsible for selling all national NCM offerings, including, but no limited to, onscreen and lobby cinema advertising, digital and social retargeting, and DOOH, via both direct and programmatic sales. The SVP will define and implement the sales strategy for their region, providing recommendations for pricing and packaging, working closely with both Marketing and SIA to identify new opportunities, and building high-level relationships with key decision makers at the major agency holding companies, independent agencies, and the advertisers associated with them.

SALARY RANGE & BENEFIT OPTIONS FOR NEW YORK APPLICANTS:
Salary Range: Base Salary of approximately $280,000-$350,000 annually plus bonus - compensation is commensurate with skills & experience.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Essential duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Develop plans and implement sales strategy to generate revenue from advertisers and agencies.
- Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales targets for region and individuals, projecting expected sales volume and revenue for existing and new products.
- Identify, target, prospect and close customers and partner channels in order to significantly increase revenue and pipeline.
- Identify and create client and audience-driven sales opportunities for key clients.
- Recruit, manage, mentor and motivate top-performing sales talent.
- Lead the team in negotiating and closing profitable business, working directly with key accounts to help sales reps meet quarterly and annual revenue goals.
- Build and manage the sales pipeline to accurately forecast and deliver revenue commitments, structuring and streamlining the sales process for optimal efficiency and ensuring integration between Digital and On-Screen teams.
- Drive performance and ensure culture of success within sales team, managing relationships, analyzing and tracking key metrics to drive revenue, identifying trends and highlighting issues in partner and customer needs.
- Communicate and remain proactive in the day-to-day sales process, handling issues regarding inventory, pricing, stewardship, errors, strategies, targets and budgets.
- Serve as subject matter expert by keeping up to date with cutting edge industry trends.
- Ensure sales best practice and methodology, including efficient and effective tracking via Sales / CRM toolset.
- Manage the reporting function to ensure generation of information regarding prospects, pending deals, forecasts, advertiser contacts, specific proposal target lists and expenses.
- Work closely with various internal divisions to achieve the above objectives.
- Serve as liaison to other NCM divisions in an effort to drive business their way.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- 10 years proven track record of extensive national media sales experience.
- Desire and skilled ability to develop strong, long-lasting relationships with executive level marketing clients and their agencies.
- Bachelor's Degree in business, marketing or related field preferred.
- Advanced presentation skills (individual, group, executive level, and in-person, over the phone and in writing).
- Thorough understanding of and comfort level with media research and math.
- Creative thinker: Entrepreneurial with the ability to deliver consultative, solution-oriented sales approach and develop big ideas based on client marketing objectives.
- Advertising agency experience a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- CRM experience a plus.
- Ability to manage, handle and prioritize multiple projects and responsibilities.
- Ability to work effectively and independently in a fast-paced environment.
