We offer a collegial culture, challenging projects, and excellent compensation and benefits, not to mention a Flex Work approach that is truly flexible to support where, when, and how you do your best work.The Marketing department creates passion and relevance for the "Dolby Difference" driving sell-in and sell-thru of Dolby enabled devices, services, content, and experiences across multiple constituents – partners, creators, consumers, and developers.Dolby is looking for a world-class product marketer for our Mobile Entertainment category to drive awareness and adoption of Dolby’s solutions that enable spectacular entertainment experiences for B2B and B2C audiences.This is a critical role that will help drive interest and preference for Dolby’s products and services through inspiring stories, compelling marketing programs, and the management of high-value marketing partnerships. As a Product Marketing Manager, you will work cross-functionally with business, product, marketing, and sales stakeholders across both OEMs and content ecosystem partners to inform a cohesive go-to-market strategy for new and current offers, as well as build and drive execution for the marketing plans for mobile and PC products. You’ll work closely with PR, Design, Brand, Content, Digital, Consumer Category functions, and Regional Marketing leads to create holistic plans for the portfolio. You will also play a key role as an advocate for the products and business and as a steward for exceptional marketing practices – contributing to optimizing our marketing practices to ensure efficacy, impact, and smart ROI.You are a strategic and analytical product marketer who can empathize with and think like our partners, with deep product, industry, and consumer marketing expertise. You have a first-hand understanding of what differentiates Dolby as a vital technology provider in entertainment ecosystems and how to communicate that to the world. Essential skills include a keen understanding of the mobile, PC, and associated peripheral industries to inform product development, the ability to craft clear and compelling product positioning, drive competitive analyses, and design and execute go-to-market strategies in support of the mobile & PC solutions and broader Dolby awareness, adoption, and engagement goals.Responsibilities:Partner with product management, sales, and other organizational leaders to set and deliver against coordinated business and marketing goals.Support the creation and execution of annual and quarterly go-to-market plans in partnership with marketing colleagues, other cross-functional marketing partners, the business group, and sales.Identify key data inputs for go-to-market plans, drive projects to inform and optimize marketing programs through the application of consumer, industry, and market insights.Develop product marketing deliverables for Mobile & PC solutions – value proposition, product positioning statements, user benefits, naming and brand recommendations, core creative, etc.Translate complex product concepts into simple, creative, and impactful product communications that resonate with key business and consumer audiences.Develop sales enablement materials to support key product launches.Partner with marketing functions to provide input into industry, consumer, and creator marketing campaigns, inclusive of email, social, paid digital and content, PR/AR, and event-based activations.Establish and track metrics that matter. Monitor ROI for go-to-market efforts, evaluate and optimize continuously.Qualifications / Experience:5-8+ years of experience in building impactful marketing strategies, creating, and executing product marketing plans.Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field is required; MBA preferred.Significant expertise in consumer marketing within the mobile, PC, or associated peripherals industries preferred.A curious and well-rounded marketer, able to adapt to different products, industries, and roles as the business evolves.Has technical acumen. Possesses vision to identify whitespace opportunities. Experience supporting the development and commercialization of breakthrough innovations.Excellent creative problem solver with strong spoken and written communication skills.Experience and talent influencing cross-functional stakeholders including business, product, engineering, and sales.Results and outcomes-driven with a track record of success in launching new offers.The San Francisco/Bay Area base salary range for this full-time position is $162,000 - 198,000, which can vary if outside this location,plus bonus, benefits, and some roles may also include equity. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, competencies, experience, market demands, internal parity, and relevant education or training.
