The France Foundation is searching for a highly organized, energetic, and innovative Medical Content Writer to join our amazing team. You will make the designs in our educational grants come to life, working with the internal team, external faculty, and collaborators to develop innovative live and online medical educational activities.

Responsibilities:
The Medical Content Writer is responsible for medical content within continuing medical education activities that aim to advance improvements in healthcare and patient outcomes. They will also ensure clinical accuracy through validation and fair balance in accordance with Joint Accreditation and the Standards for Integrity and Independence in Accredited Continuing Education. The Medical Content Writer ensures the highest quality of education is distributed to our learners.

Roles and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Content Development
• Develop, manage, review, and update content for several therapeutic areas and in multiple formats
• Facilitate education planning and content development with subject matter experts
• Stay up to date in all assigned therapeutic areas
• Understand and assimilate clinical data and medical information as it relates to clinical practice
• Provide medical content overviews to internal staff
• Provide content support on-site at meetings and teleconferences
• Audit content at selected live meetings

Adult Learning and Guidelines
• Apply adult learning principles to the development of education that improves knowledge, competence, and performance of learners
• Understand and apply the framework for quality improvement in healthcare
• Assist in the planning of education that achieves high level outcomes and improvements in clinical practice and patient care
• Ensure independence, objectivity, balance, and scientific rigor in all educational content
• Verify that all scientific research referred to, reported, or used in education activities conforms to the generally accepted standards of experimental design, data collection, and analysis
• Further educational outcomes design and reporting through participation in the Outcomes Committee

Client Service and Communications
• Develop and maintain faculty, collaborator, and client relationships
• Ensure all communications of key information are clear and concise and directed to the appropriate team member(s) or department(s)
• Demonstrate excellent customer service consistent with organizational and departmental standards
• Consistently promote teamwork and direct communication with co-workers
• Assist with abstract submissions and publications of educational outcomes
• Support educational grant development when requested
• Ensure all timelines are met on all deliverables

Qualifications:
• 2-5 yrs medical content development/writing or related experience
• Advanced degree in clinical or biological sciences preferred
• An understanding of performance and quality improvement-based continuing education
• Demonstrates the skills and experience to be independent, self-motivated, solution-oriented, and work well with others as part of a larger team
• Demonstrated ability to multitask and to meet deadlines
• Highly organized, detail-oriented and above all committed to the production of high-quality work
• Familiarity with AI software and ability to utilize AI to support and facilitate medical content development

Our hybrid environment offers you the option of working from home two days per week. Employees will work a standard 40-hour week, with the possibility of additional hours based on project deadlines.

Smithbucklin considers several factors when determining compensation, including a candidate's recent coursework, training, experience, and certifications, among other considerations. The expected pay for this role is $95,000- $115,000.
