The Executive Producer represents a master of craft within the industry and has a proven ability to manage producers across all production disciplines including content and experiential production. The EP role at Edelman also means that you remain an active producer and role model within the production and marketing community. The EP role is a leadership position and is expected to be the production expert per client team.As an EP you will scope, define, manage, and lead the implementation of production projects while keeping business requirements in mind and applying best practices. From start to finish, precise communication, delegation and leadership are necessary requirements.
EP will lead production on a major client that merges fashion, retail, lifestyle, and homeware. Experience producing within these categories is appreciated. This role is hybrid and expected to be based in New York.

$99,000 - $175,000 a year
An employee's pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of DJEH's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, a Paid Time Off policy, and region-specific benefits.

Responsibilities
- Oversee concurrent projects with multiple work streams and large internal and external teams.
- Ability to scope experiential and all forms of content work.
- Elevate the creative. Find versatile solutions to keep good ideas alive. Lead the evolution of creative concepts into even stronger projects.
- Partners closely with the Business Affairs Manager to ensure the latest information coming from SAG, AICP, Client MSAs, and Edelman internal policies is communicated to agency team members.
- Lend industry expertise and advises producers on selection and negotiation of all outside vendor contracts based on both scope/budget/timeline of project and which vendor is best suited to elevate the creative vision.
- Has a deep understanding of agency client guidelines and competitive bidding best practices, ensuring all work is produced with creative & client needs in mind.
- Become a trusted partner to our clients by developing a positive relationship based on transparency, clear communication, and desire to deliver.
- Lead all teams through the creative and production process with strong ability to communicate between creative, strategy, technology, business leadership, business affairs and vendor partners.
- Ensure all proposed creative concepts can be produced within the specified timeframe and / or budget.
- Work with creative teams to provide guidance and insight during the ideation process with regard to production approaches and solutions.
- Looks to future-proof the account by bringing innovative production capabilities, technology, and tools to build multidisciplinary solutions to a variety of briefs.
- Liaison with brand cost consultants, lead production related conversations, defend your approach, the bids, the recommended vendors, all facets.
Basic Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience at a creative agency, marketing/comms, production company position.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to speak knowledgeably about all aspects of production talent (directors, Line producers, DOP's etc...) and advise direct report producers.
- Strong track record in building client relationships.
- Strong vendor relationships.
- Stays on top of industry trends, craft-makers, techniques, directors, photographers, and innovative technologies and utilizesexpertise and passion for production to inspire and educate the Department and Agency overall to elevate the creative product.
- Passionate about ideas, brands, the agency, and our clients' business.
- Effective negotiation and positive-minded problem-solving skills required.
- A track record of gaining trust and respect by consistently demonstrating critical-thinking skills and maintaining composure in stressful situations.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of employees.
- Exceptional initiative and follow-through skills.
