Highland Homes is currently accepting resumes for a Marketing Manager role. This position is responsible for the development, budgeting, scheduling, management, and execution of all divisional marketing activities for Highland Homes and its subsidiaries including marketing, advertising, and public relations/support (Realtors, public, partners, customers, internal) in concert with the Sr. Marketing Manager and the Company's divisional leadership team. Note: This role will office out of Highland Homes' West DFW office based in North Fort Worth.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide a high level of quality customer service to Sales Counselors, Division Managers, and Realtors.
  • Be completely familiar with all Highland Homes communities, Sales Counselors, and price points.
  • Build and maintain good communication and working relationships with the Realtor community, Division Managers, Sales Counselors, Sales Assistants, and office personnel.
  • Develop and oversee effective marketing collateral and programs that will drive sales for the Company.
  • Oversee Creative Request process, ensuring timeliness, customer service, and brand standards are met. Receive the requests, working with the sales counselor/manager to interpret the request and working with the Graphic Designer to fulfill the request as needed.
  • Assist Sales Counselors as needed and work with outside printers to ensure all subdivision printing (including flyers, direct mail pieces, signage, etc.) is professional, consistent and accurate.
  • Coordinate special marketing signage such as billboards, land leases and directionals.
  • Coordinate photography and videography as needed.
  • Oversee execution of Subdivision events (breakfasts, lunches and grand openings), ensuring that event needs are being met.
  • Regularly present creative ideas for taglines, presentations, events, incentive programs, gifts, packaging, and visual merchandising.
  • Coordinate all Highland Homes division advertising projects to provide effective, accurate, and efficient programs in a creative manner that will address Division objectives and stay within established budgets.
  • Work with the Vice President of Marketing, Sr. Marketing Manager, Sr. Brand Marketing Manager, Division Managers, Sales Counselors, Digital Marketing, and leadership team to determine market-specific advertising opportunities and obtain approvals.
  • Work with design vendors and in-house designers to create advertising layouts and designs for division marketing efforts and Sales requests. All layouts must be approved by the Vice President of Marketing before final submission for printing.
  • Manage Realtor Facebook group and work with Digital Marketing team and outside resources to create and implement a cohesive and effective social media content that is on-strategy and increases engagement and followers.
  • Ensure all division advertising and media requests are completed in a timely manner, are within agreed-upon budgets, and that the copy is clear and effective.
  • Attend all developer meetings and events as needed and work closely with other builders/developers on community marketing and developer initiated grand openings. Represent Highland Homes as professional, knowledgeable, and collaborative.
  • Work with Division Leaders, Land Department, Digital Marketing, and Architecture on all upcoming communities to coordinate launches of new phases and communities.
  • Attend all relevant Highland Homes marketing events and assist as necessary.
  • Assist in the development of control reports that will compare actual performance with Marketing Department standards.
  • Conduct meetings and present programs as necessary with internal resources and outside vendors to follow-up on projects and tasks.
  • Operate as a coach and mentor to the Marketing staff as applicable to help them realize their highest potential.
    • The Marketing Manager will stay in regular communication with the Marketing staff (if applicable) to oversee the quality and completion of tasks, help solve problems, provide guidance, and foster growth and employee satisfaction.
    • Set an example through positivity and promote collaboration among team members.
  • Manage and develop Marketing Coordinator. Responsible for training and development.
  • Other duties as requested.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, business, management or other related field required. Graduate degree preferred.
  • Minimum six years of prior marketing experience required.
  • Prior experience managing a team strongly preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
  • Prior public speaking and presentation experience required.
  • Strong negotiating skills preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) required.
  • Ability to work on several projects and tasks simultaneously on a daily basis and shift focus easily
  • The demands of this position may often dictate longer hours to successfully complete the day's work. In addition, the Marketing Manager is required to work all employee events (including some weekends) unless otherwise approved by the Vice President of Marketing.
  • Reliable transportation required.
  • Flexibility and reliable internet to enable remote work from home if necessary.
