Midnight Oil (moagency.com), strategically located in "the heart of Hollywood" in Burbank, CA, is an extraordinary creative, and specialty print production partner to the majority of theatrical and streaming studios, with relationships often measured in terms of decades, not years. We uniquely and conveniently combine our Studio and Print Production capabilities all under one roof in our 120,000 square feet facility, with an Amtrak stop and the Burbank Airport directly across the street. Position Summary: The Creative Account Manager's mission is to have full oversight and accountability for scope, schedule, quality, and budget of campaigns spanning creative intake through final file delivery. This role will provide client and internal communication resulting in the seamless execution of creative campaigns and projects.

Work Location & Shift: Onsite in Burbank, CA. Monday-Friday, 6:00pm - 2:30am.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Own client communication and manage client expectations on campaign level.
  • Plan and manage internal development of creative through digital or manufacture production, collaborating with Account Directors, Premedia Leads and Digital Producers, obtaining while driving and overseeing project milestones.
  • Develop estimates and proposals, based on account pricing strategies determined by account services, and manage budgets throughout the duration of the campaign through final billing. Responsible for managing budgets for maximum profitability.
  • Utilize Adobe Workfront for project management of all efforts.
  • Set expectations and provide creative goals to assigned Creative Directors or clear direction to the execution teams.
  • Prepare agendas, organize, and conduct kick-offs and engage in ongoing status meetings.
  • Oversee project resources allocation with the Creative Director and other Creative Account Managers, including coordination with freelancer and in-house resources.
  • Coordinate with Creative Director to ensure work is meeting the overall creative intent and client quality expectations.
  • Coordinate with Digital Producers, Premedia and Color Leads to ensure work is moving through production to meet the output goals (print, static digital, motion, etc.).
  • Coordinate with Production Project Managers to ensure file delivery hand-off is complete for Product Teams.
  • Provide ongoing progress updates to all stakeholders.
  • Ownership of quality assurance from start to finish for creative through file deliverables, including comps and proofs.


Mandatory Qualifications:

  • Creative Agency and/or Entertainment industry experience required.
  • Minimum 4 years professional experience in a project management discipline.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, ideally in a marketing or related field.
  • Ultimate client satisfaction mentality and approach.
  • Proactive approach to identify and solve problems before they arise.
  • Well versed in creative through premedia process for theatrical, streaming, and retail.
  • Exceptional coordination and multi-tasking skills.
  • Understanding of budgeting a range of project types as well as tracking burn rates.
  • Attention to detail with outstanding analytic skills.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative and team environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel, Adobe Creative Cloud and job tracking systems.
  • Commitment to continued learning.
  • Bilingual or multilingual proficiency in any language (including ASL) preferred

The national pay range for this role is $80,000 to $100,000/a year. The pay range may be slightly lower or higher based on the geographic location. The actual pay offered may vary based upon, but not limited to education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift, and location. In addition to base salary, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include participation in a bonus, commission, or incentive program.
