Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the graphic and multimedia/web design team, guiding projects from concept to completion.
- Develop and implement design strategies that elevate brand imagery and support client goals.
- Collaborate with clients to conceptualize and produce high-quality video content, animations, and graphics.
- Ensure adherence to brand guidelines and consistency in all creative outputs.
- Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation effectively.
- Mentor and inspire junior designers while providing feedback to support their professional growth.
- Analyze market trends and the competitive landscape to drive innovation in design offerings.
- Manage client relationships for design projects, ensuring their needs are met and expectations are exceeded.
Requirements
Minimum Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia Arts, or related field.
- 9+ years of relevant experience, with:
- 2+ years project management experience
- 2+ years of supervisory experience
Basic Requirements
- Strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of designs and multimedia projects.
- Proven experience in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects, and Premiere Pro).
- Experience mentoring junior employees of diverse skillsets and levels on design principles.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Experience in supporting Business Development activities related to design projects.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong understanding of and experience in user-centered design principles and processes.
- Knowledge of current design trends and best practices in multimedia production.
- Ability to story tell through visuals across diverse platforms.

Skills That Set You Apart
- Experience working with federal clients and the government contracting (govcon) industry
- Understanding of 508 compliance and web content accessibility guidelines (WCAG)
- Understanding of UX/UI design principles
- Additional years of supervisory and/or project management experience
