Creative Engineer - Design, Future Opportunities - Contract

Critical Mass delivers a next-gen suite of services for our clients, utilizing dynamic creative optimization to deliver creative engineering, intelligent automation, and technology expertise with a highly scaled operational model for our clients. We are seeking a full time, Creative Engineer to lead as an architect, influencer, and manager within our cutting edge creative automation team.

With a holistic view and understanding of an overall campaign/ecosystem, the CE will work with a team of designers to format and build complex creative frameworks to enabled at scale production of content for our global clients. These frameworks will adhere to both best practices and client brand standards. This individual should love data as much as they love good design. The ideal candidate will be excited by the possibilities for innovation found between understanding how data can influence design and how clever design can drive data results. This individual is detail-oriented, organized, and pragmatic. They also live to solve puzzles. Partnering with creative, account, strategy, and media teams, they will use their knowledge of digital platforms to influence test-and-learn approaches and anticipate how creative can be evolved for the better.

You will:
  • Collaborate with the Creative Team to bring their ideas to life with best practices and brand standards being top of mind.
  • Collaborate within Critical Mass to build the reputation of ArtBot and educate others on the benefits of a well-considered automation program.
  • Collaborate with other discipline team leads to coordinate their requirements and needs within the system.
  • Collaborate with 3rd party vendors that may be supporting any effort within their proprietary MarTech
  • Collaborate with world class in-house brand studios and their leads.
  • Create production solutions elevating our abilities to create.
  • Create scalable programs that will enable performance marketing campaign to easily scale and be manipulated into testing frameworks.
  • Create business cases when work goes live.
  • Create compelling stories to support new business, pitch on opportunities, and organically help shape new opportunities within your craft.
  • Create regular opportunities to stay current within the tech stack of design tools, including platforms focused on creative automation and latest trends in the design and advertising industry.
  • Create a positive environment where creativity and positivity can flourish every day.


You have:
  • 5+ years relevant experience in a high-velocity production studio, digital design production shop, and/or agency organization.
  • Advanced proficiencies within Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, withpractical knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite's ecosystem of content creation software.
  • Experience in DCO frameworks.
  • Experience building and mentoring highly productive teams.
  • Experience in high-scale output and design and a proven track record driving new initiatives through an organization.
  • Experience with content at scale technologies.
  • Experience working in a dynamic, fluid, and ever-changing environment.
