Come innovate with the Amazon Music team! This role will own the strategy and execution of new content initiatives across owned and operated channels. As the Marketing Manager, you are responsible for driving Audiobook goals by executing enriching audiobook customer experiences through effective use of owned & operated marketing channels. A successful candidate will have a passion for owned channel marketing, continuous A/B testing, and strong creative instincts. The ideal candidate will have the creativity to take our global audiobook strategy to the next level. Key job responsibilities Serve as a cross-platform Audiobook expert and drive execution of best practices and learnings. Continuous A/B testing of visual O&O placements for Audiobooks, including creative imagery, messaging and CTAs. Understand and create customer segmentation, cohorts and testing plans to optimize for customer acquisition, engagement and retention. Establish and optimize reports and perform detailed analysis to drive insights to increase acquisition and engagement across owned & operated marketing channels and campaigns. Obsess over customers and how they discover Audiobooks within Amazon Music on the Amazon website and mobile app, Amazon devices and owned and operated entities. Make recommendations to optimize navigation and product page funnels, based on metrics and industry best practices. Experience using data and metrics to measure impact and determine improvements Experience using Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze data Basic Qualifications 4+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional programs or marketing campaigns from concept to completion. Excellent leadership and communication to drive recommendations, articulate tradeoffs and influence senior executives. Excellent presentation, and interpersonal skills. High attention to detail, across both business and technical domains Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills, with a natural curiosity to measure, test, learn and iterate in order to get the best results possible. Proven track record of creating customer segmentation and executing testing plans. Demonstrated success in delivering results in a fast-paced, rapid-growth environment. Preferred Qualifications MBA/advanced degree or equivalent experience 5+ years of marketing experience 5+ years of relevant work experience managing online customer experience, marketing strategies, and site merchandising, preferably in consumer retail, e-commerce or subscription based business. Experience with in app messaging and marketing platforms (Braze, Iterable, LeanPlum, Swrve, Adobe, Localytics etc.) Experience with data analytics and visualization platforms (Adobe Analytics, Amplitude, Tableau, Mode, Thoughtspot) Familiarity with SQL and data extraction Experience working in the digital streaming industry, podcasts or audiobooks, including a knowledge of current trends Experience working across global teams Amazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace. Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $70,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $151,700/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
