About the Role

The Marketing Communications Intern will be primarily responsible for creating marketing communications and promotions. This internship position reports to the Marketing Manager.

What You'll Do
  • Reviews existing technical documentation and gathers materials of competitive companies to generate new communications.
  • Writes and edits technical information to create promotional literature, e-mails newsletters, case studies, blogs, brochures and website content.
  • Develops and executes social media campaigns, and social media advertising.
  • Develops content and coordinates the distribution of e-mail marketing.
  • Evaluates website content and user experience to suggest changes for improvement of the content, navigation and design of the website.
  • Supports the development of video scripts and storyboards to produce promotional and tutorial videos.
  • Collects data from website and other campaign activities for inclusion in monthly Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) report.
  • Meets with appropriate company representative as needed to collect information and discuss communication needs on an individual project basis.
Potential Project Outline

SOCIAL MEDIA POST:
  • Take outlined ideas and develop into social media post for promoting company activities.
  • Schedule post, plan advertising/promotion of post where applicable and report on performance
COMPANY NEWSLETTER:
  • Work with various departments to develop company newsletter. This includes editing articles written by others, and laying them out in a InDesign newsletter template.
  • Initiate and follow-up on content deadlines.
CASE STUDIES:
  • Work with regional sales teams to develop new project case studies. This will require following-up on contacts provided for sourcing project details, pictures, and quotes from involved parties.
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:
  • Document and record key performance data including search engine results for month report.
Additional Expectations
  • Remain compliant with the Code of Conduct and Policies which includes the Kingspan Group Compliance Policy.
  • Ensure that all duties related to product compliance are adhered to in accordance with the Product Compliance Policy, Laws, Regulations, and market demands.
  • Responsible for all tasks to achieve compliance goals and demands of the Compliance Management System.
  • Must raise concerns related to the Compliance Management System to their supervisor, manager, or any member of the Leadership Team, or through the confidential whistle blower service.
What You'll Bring
  • Currently enrolled in college.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat.
  • Familiar with social media best practices across multiple platforms.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
