We are seeking a COMMUNICATIONS PROJECT MANAGER to support our Treatment products and solutions. This position may be located in the Xylem office of Brown Deer, WI or Zelienople, PA. He/she will be responsible to plan and manage marketing communications projects primarily for the two brands Sanitaire and Leopold globally and regionally on all geographic markets. This person will also support the planning and execution of regional projects in the Americas for the two other Treatment brands Flygt and Wedeco. Responsibilities include product related marketing and communications planning, product launches, content development and thought leadership activities. This person will work very closely with product managers and regional marketing teams and report to the Senior Communication Manager, Treatment. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Plan, develop and manage product related marketing communication projects to support product launches and strategic initiatives, and execute on these in close collaboration with regional marketing operations teams through an extensive marketing mix.
- Liaise with product management teams and regional marketing teams to develop messaging and product related content to be localized and executed by regional teams in their integrated vertical marketing communications programs.
- Manage the creation and dissemination of product related marketing communications and sales collateral and content in support of Treatment Growth Center’s objectives.
- Work effectively and build relations with Xylem’s direct and indirect marketing organization to create understanding and interest in Treatment products and to understand local opportunities and challenges in reaching target audiences with key messages.
- Manage the collaboration with external vendors connected to the projects.
- Ensure all communications activities are executed within Xylem’s brand guidelines and support the overall communications strategy of the global organization.

KEY RELATIONSHIPS

Internal: This person will report to the Senior Communications Manager, GC Treatment and work closely together with the Communications Project Manager for Europe. He or she will collaborate closely with product management teams, regional vertical marketing teams and local commercial teams.

External: The role includes close collaboration with communications agencies, writers, photographers and other vendors.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s/equivalent degree in marketing, public relations, communications, or related discipline
- Five or more years of marketing communications experience, preferably in a global organization
- Ability to see the big picture, create strategic plans and execute tactics, with strong attention to detail and focus on high-quality work products
- Excellent written and verbal communications in English. Knowledge of other languages is a plus.
