Job Description:

As Media Manager of Media Buying, you will play a pivotal role in our agency's success by directly managing client buys. Your expertise in media buying, especially in the programmatic space, leadership, and strategic thinking will be essential in achieving our client's objectives and driving growth for our agency.

What the Day-to-Day Looks Like
  • Partner with media planners, client teams, and analysts to ensure media plans deliver according to client goals
  • Manage and supervise campaigns across multiple verticals, channels and all major buying platforms, including Google Ads, YouTube, Meta, TikTok, The Trade Desk and DV360
  • Demonstrate industry knowledge and subject matter expertise in programmatic buying for client teams and clients
  • Delegate appropriately and collaborate with media planners to support plan development.
  • Work with the team to manage client/account team requests - i.e., budget changes, campaign flighting, and marketplace information
  • Monitor key metrics such as click-through rates, conversion rates, and cost-per-acquisition to ensure that we are delivering the best possible return on investment for advertising spends
  • Promote relationships with vendors to bring outside the box and and innovative solutions


Qualifications
  • Proven experience in programmatic media buying, preferably in an agency environment, with a track record of successful campaigns for at least 4 years
  • Experience working across some of our client verticals, ideally direct response/performance marketing, nonprofit organizations, and political campaigns
  • Proven experience in delivery, incremental forecasting, and strategy for clients.
  • Strong leadership, direct team management, and training skills
  • Exceptional communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Hands-on experience running campaigns across all digital ad formats in multiple DSPs, including The Trade Desk and DV360
  • Ability to oversee ad operations and trafficking in Google Campaign Manager
  • Familiarity with ad tech platforms and partners, tools, and emerging industry trends
  • Excellent analytical and strategic thinking capabilities
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed client performance targets
  • A passion for mentoring and developing team members
