Overview
The Marketing Automation Specialist Lead will play a key role in the execution of automated marketing programs. This position will form strong relationships and collaborate closely with partners across the organization in US and Global HQ. This person should have the ability to translate high-level campaign briefs & objectives into automated marketing solutions.
This position requires that the candidate be able to work on site in Somerset, NJ on Tuesday/Thursday.

The Marketing Automation Specialist Lead will play a key role in the execution of automated marketing programs. This position will form strong relationships and collaborate closely with partners across the organization in US and Global HQ. This person should have the ability to translate high-level campaign briefs & objectives into automated marketing solutions.
This position requires that the candidate be able to work on site in Somerset, NJ on Tuesday/Thursday.
Responsibilities
- Execute automation enabled personalized email experiences (other capabilities to be implemented at a later stage)
- Closely collaborate with the Campaign Management teams to set priorities and define role of SFMC in a given campaign / marketing activity
- Collaborate with Global colleagues on maturing capabilities and implement new (i.e. text, SoMe etc.)
- Be entrepreneurial and show proof of concepts before scaling solutions
- Project management
- Coordinate with and manage feedback from cross-functional stakeholders
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Salesforce Sales/Service cloud teamProactively understand, identify and resolve data related issues
- Understand out-of-the-box Marketing Cloud functionality, and have the ability to leverage business requirements
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience with marketing automation (preferably Salesforce Marketing Cloud)
- Experience with email marketing best practices including list segmentation, A/B testing, build, QA, deployment, and reporting
- Solid understanding of marketing automation solutions (i.e., Salesforce Marketing, etc.), Marketing data models
- Understanding of RDBMS
- Functional understanding of Salesforce marketing cloud studios preferably Email Studio, Journey builder, Automation Studio, Audience builder, Content builder
- Hands on with SFMC data attributes and data extensions
- Exceptional organization, time-management, communications, attention-to-detail, and project-management abilities
