Key Responsibilities:
- Lead team of Drafters to assemble design packages from start to finish including internal & external QA/QC process.
- Design and review of architectural contract documents drawings and specifications for multiple projects.
- Coordination of structural, mechanical, electrical drawings and specifications with architectural contract documents for telecommunication facilities infrastructure design and construction.
- Conduct engineering research using the internet, visiting production site, or consulting municipalities.
- Site visits to measure up and sketch proposed telecommunication facility, including cell sites and critical facilities.
- Ensure that drawings are checked, approved and files in accordance with company quality system
- Provide leadership and guidance to CAD Drafters.
Qualifications:
- 4 years' experience in critical facilities or telecom site design leading drafting teams.
- Technical degree/diploma in Engineering or Architecture.
- Experience in electrical or mechanical design would be an asset.
- Proficient in AutoCAD 2008-2010.
- Knowledge of MS Office and MS Excel.
- Understanding of architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical disciplines and capability of coordinating these disciplines for critical facilities and/or telecom cell sites design.
- Strong organizational, written and communication skills.
