We are looking for a dynamic individual to fill the role of Regional Marketing and Communication Manager, who will spearhead local and regional marketing initiatives for some of our East Coast gyms while supporting internal and external communication efforts across the brand. This position involves leading a team of local marketers to drive brand awareness and engagement within specified territories, as well as coordinating comprehensive digital marketing strategies and managing in-gym marketing activities. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication and copywriting skills with the ability to strategize and implement effective communication plans that align with our organizational goals and mission.

This role is a full-time position located in the Chicago, NYC, Philly, or nearby regions with travel required. It will oversee multiple locations and reports to the Asst. Director of Marketing. This position will work with both a remote marketing team as well as partner with the local operations team. Day-to-day can be remote but will require regular visits to gyms.

Job Responsibilities
Regional Marketing Responsibilities
- Manage the execution of local marketing plan based on regional/national strategies to acquire members, build brand awareness, drive community engagement, and retain members in conjunction with the marketing and operations teams.
- Supervise local marketing teams in social strategy, content development, and email communication for maximum effectiveness.
- Manage and execute promotions, projects, and campaigns, ensuring timely execution and successful outcomes. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align marketing efforts with business objectives and work with relevant partners to amplify impacts.
- Collaborate with cross-departmental teams to create and implement strategies that increase brand awareness, attract new customers, and retain our members.
- Uphold a consistent brand image and voice across all marketing channels and materials. Ensure adherence to brand guidelines and offer guidance to team members to uphold brand integrity.
- Manage multiple projects and communications of those projects simultaneously utilizing project management software.
- Manage and support the career development of your team, fostering a culture of growth and excellence within the marketing department.
Communication Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Senior Director of Marketing to manage and copywrite internal communication channels such as newsletters and company-wide announcements to keep employees informed and engaged. Partner with various departments to ensure messaging is disseminated via various platforms.
- Serve as a liaison between departments to facilitate communication and ensure alignment of messaging and goals.
- Support partnership with PR team to provide content for various communication mediums including press releases, internal messaging, and marketing materials.
- Coordinate public relations activities, acting as liaison for PR team such as media inquiries, interviews, and press events.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, public relations, journalism, or related field.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in a communication role and marketing management experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and grammar.
- Strong copywriting and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate and build relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute communication plans that align with organizational objectives.
- Experience in crisis communication and media relations is a plus.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize projects in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of professionalism and discretion when handling sensitive information.
